Teaching Leadership. How do you teach others to be a great leader? Some leaders believe it is through conversations. Others believe it is spending time with people. Often people identified for future leadership roles are sent on third party training courses. Modelling is always a great idea. As Sharon Pearson highlights, “you teach others to be a great leader by getting them to develop the leader within others”.

Conscious leadership focuses on “we” not “me”. “Conscious” leaders are defined as those who inspire and bring out the best in those around them, foster transformation, and manage beyond conventional profits. They embrace a role to serve the purpose of the organisation, to support its employees and to create value for the company’s
stakeholders.
